As news of the untimely death of South Korean supermodel Daul Kim spreads, police are trying to narrow down an accurate cause of death for 20 year-old Kim.

Daul Kim was found hanged in her Paris apartment Thursday by her boyfriend, who alerted French police. With the discovery of Kim’s recent blog posts, police officials told the AP they were working under the hypothesis that Kim committed suicide.

In an Oct. 30 entry on her blog, Kim wrote she was “mad depressed and overworked,” and in another entry said “the more i gain the more lonely it is … i know i’m like a ghost.”

The last entry on her blog, dated Nov. 18, was titled “say hi to forever” and carried a video of the song “I Go Deep” by British singer Jim Rivers.

The AP noted that South Korea has the highest suicide rate among the 30 nations in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and over the past year has had a string of high-profile suicides.

Former President Roh Moo-hyun jumped to his death in May while embroiled in a widening corruption scandal and the ex-chairman of South Korea’s oldest conglomerate killed himself earlier this month. In 2008, top actress Choi Jin-sil committed suicide, following in the footsteps of a fellow actor. A young actress in one of South Korea’s popular soap operas also died by suicide.

In 2006 The Wall Street Journal described Genevieve Jones as a socialite “echoing Audrey Hepburn’s portrayal of party girl Holly Golightly in the movie ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s.’”

Nylon Magazine continued the Journal’s  praises in 2008 saying that the “It Girl who swapped Baton Rouge for Bungalow 8 in the early ’00s [and] now counts Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Anouck Lepere, and Sean Lennon and as BFFs, and sits front row at Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, and Proenza Schouler.” No profile of Genevieve would be complete without mentioning that “she is photographed more than most movie starlets, and dresses better too.”

Beyonce took her minimalist video trend to another level with this one, and it seems like she wanted to give everyone some more evidence as to why she has every reason to feel like she’s that chick.

We in the office are obsessed with The Gaga, but seeing Ms. Lady attempt to mirror Beyonce’s choreography solidified Beyonce as the ultimate Queen B of entertainment.
