There was more hype behind the Beyonce and Lady Gaga video collaboration than there was for the pending 2012 apocalypse, and the video delivered:
Beyonce took her minimalist video trend to another level with this one, and it seems like she wanted to give everyone some more evidence as to why she has every reason to feel like she’s that chick.
We in the office are obsessed with The Gaga, but seeing Ms. Lady attempt to mirror Beyonce’s choreography solidified Beyonce as the ultimate Queen B of entertainment.
The latest in Rihanna’s provocative leaked album pics
Rihanna is back with a vengeance. Her dark new album is leaking, along with shocking music video stills and album images.
The shock factor goes beyond simply showing skin - many are criticizing her for “glorifying” suicide in her “Russian Roulette” track for starters.
Should Rihanna be taking this album as an opportunity to express herself and her recent difficult experiences, or has she taken it a tad far with being risque?
You be the judge!
The new album, Rated R, has an official release date of November 23rd 2009.

It didn’t take us long to realize that Jaicko, the latest musician to join Rihanna in music’s Bajan takeover, was a talented beyond his years. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of the Caribbean, his father’s band, and popular American music, it’s very refreshing to see a 17-year-old artist with a sound genuine as Jaicko’s.
His first single, “Oh Yeah,” was seen on BET’s 106 & Park in early September, and hasn’t stopped being a genre-blending hit, and with a album set to debut but the close of this year there are no limits for this new pop sensation. Take a look at what he had to say about his music, his heritage and life as an up-and-coming artist:
DJP: Where’d your passion for music come from?
Jaicko: When I was younger, about five-years-old, I was greatly inspired by my bad. He had a band back in Barbados, and he would play out of a lot of local nightclubs. When I saw him play I knew I wanted to be a performer.
Having strong roots with the multi-talented Knowles family, it’s no surprise that new R&B sensation Coline Creuzot is making serious strides in both fashion and music.
With her new hit single “Acapella Now” starting to make noise, we’re highly anticipating what’s next from the Houston songstress.
Check out our recent interview with Coline where we talk music, inspiration, and fabulous footwear.
DJP: What brings you to New York?
Coline: I actually just hooked up with a new publicist, Mecca Moore, and she set up a press day for me today. So I’m here!
DJP: Are you working on an album at the moment?
Coline: Yes, I’ve just released a single called “Acappella Now.” I have two mixtapes out and I’m continuing to write and record until I get to that place where the album’s done.
DJP: Do we have a name for the album yet?
Coline: Not yet. We’re still working on that.
DJP: How many tracks do you have finished?
Coline: I have recorded about 40 songs! We’re trying to filter everything out and get one vibe. Sometimes, you know, you just record and do what comes naturally to you. Eventually you have to focus so the album makes sense.
Check out our recent interview with the New Boyz (BenJ and Legacy) in New York City where we discussed music, fashion, and how the music industry has changed after the sky-rocketing cross-over careers of artists like Kanye West and Rihanna:
DJP: What brings you to New York City ?
BenJ: This is like our second home; our label is out here, so we’re here practically all the time.
Legacy: We got a lot of business out here.
DJP: Let’s talk about your new album, Skinny Jeans and A Mic, which is out now. What should your fans expect from this album?
