DJPremium is very excited about General Idea‘s own Korean designer Bumsuk Choi as he presented the Fall / Winter 2014 collection last week at Pier 59 during New York Fashion Week.
The show revealed that the brand has taken a darker turn from the metallics and color blocking we saw in SS14. Fall moved towards a more tonal color palette with a bad-ass edge. General Idea’s street-wear DNA emerged on the runway with the paneling, extended hems, and dropped shoulders we have come to love.

When/How did you start modeling? I started modeling a few years ago. I believe i started when I was 18 years old. A recruiter for a modeling management wanted me to come to their interview. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to make it to the interview but modeling started to sparkle my interests.
What’s the craziest shoot or job you’ve been on? The craziest shoot was for the marketing of San Diego Fashion Institute runway show wearing bathing suits out on the busy streets in a 50 degrees weather ! It was freezing and people were honking!
Name something you can’t live without: I can’t live without my mascara. I would look like a zombie. haha.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy exploring new things: whether it’s hiking, dancing, or rock climbing, I’m all up for it!
What are your wardrobe staples? I love staying simple and laid back. Hence, my wardrobe consists of mostly jeans, tank tops, sweater and shorts.
Any style tips/advice you can give? Take the item’s dollar amount and divide it by the number of times you think would wear it. If it’s more than twice a week, please buy it!
Dream job? I want to be the next Victoria’s Secret (Asian) model !
