The highly revered street brand, Hellz Bellz, is known for its “female empowerment” aesthetic and out of the box designs. Last year, the female street wear brand collaborated with Vans shoes to create unique designs that stayed true to each brand’s style. With the enormous success and high demand of the collaboration pieces, the team at Hellz Bellz and Vans knew they were destined to come together to create another mind blowing collection.

This year, Lanie Alabanza-Barcena, creative director and founder of Hellz Bellz, wanted to design an 80′s inspired shoe with zipper details and metal trims. She took these design elements and incorporated them into the hand bags with zebra prints and fur. The mix of elements worked in sync with each other through the talent of these individuals.  Below is a behind the scenes look at the brands’ planning meeting, as well as the two shoes from the collaboration.  The shoes will be released in mid-July, we can’t wait!
