Fashion and music have always been close relatives (or at least maintained the dynamic of distant cousins, infrequently at each others throats around the holiday season). The latest trend, however, has been some of fashion’s leading voices collaborating with up-and-coming contemporary artists.
Check out the latest 7 For All Mankind collaboration with Japanese photographer Mika Ninagawa. The capsule collection of seven pieces will feature Ninagawa’s breathtaking stills printed on denim and t-shirts, including a pair of distressed denim shorts with colorful pockets that peak through the rubble and below the hem.
The American brand is launching the collection on Aug. 18 with a party in its Tokyo store.
