Spring 2012 highlights a variety of exciting trends such as Color blocking, Florals, Mix of Prints, and 1960′s influence, but one of my favorite trends this Spring is Pastels! I love the softer feel of pastels and how you can constantly mix and match different pieces since they are all along the same color palette. We now have a huge variety of pastel and neutral pieces that you can add to your Spring wardrobe!

Beyonce did it again! Just after watching in awe over the amazing “Countdown” music video premiere, she released “Love On Top” 10 days later. Her newest music video has a very simple concept: Beyonce is rehearsing in a dance studio with her backup dancers in a gorgeous leotard, military inspired hat, and wedge sneakers, then as the song progresses, her outfits transform in luxe tuxedos!
As most of you know, Beyonce loves her heels, and she didn’t disappoint even with her “casual” look. She changed it up by wearing wedge sneakers that compliment the entire outfit. These sneakers were designed by Isabel Marant, but you can get a similar look for less from ASH. Lucky for you, we have them on DJPremium.com now. Buy the ASH Birdy Wedge Sneakers now and rock out like Beyonce!
Watch the music video below. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

For our newest Fall lookbook, the DJPremium team jetted out to New York City to capture the true essence of “Fall City Chic”. This lookbook covers the top Fall trends including faux fur, leather details, bold tribal prints, and earth tones. We teamed up with Black Apple’s founder, Dao Yi Chow to feature key Fall looks from Black Apple that are sure to be a hit this season!
Most of the outfits we created are perfect for transitioning your clothes from Summer to Fall. Ladies, you can still wear your sheer chiffon blouse for Fall by layering it with a draped cardigan and faux fur vest. When creating an outfit like this, make sure to stay in the same color family. Remember to layer the pieces from lightest to heaviest to keep the look cohesive. For the men, you can still wear your khaki linen pants for Fall by pairing them with a dark colored plaid button-down, a thick cardigan, and trendy boots. There are a lot styling tips in each outfit that you can use for your own wardrobe.
You don’t need to box up your Summer clothes just yet, it might just be the perfect piece for your Fall outfit!

With fashion, like most things, everything is good in moderation. Which in many ways legitimizes fashion’s latest trend, where tiny peaks at the skin underneath the garment are taking center-stage.
It’s no longer about the nip-slip, but the almost elegantly raunchy use of mesh insets always keeping those places shaded where the sun decides not to shine.
Perfect for scorching summers, this trend will move easily from the beach to the streets:

Mixing different prints may sound crazy, but celebrities and fashion icons have styled their mixed-print outfits in a very fashionable way! Colorful tribal prints are one of the biggest trends this season because it combines bright colors, abstract patterns, and fun silhouettes to create the perfect Summer look. From the picture above, here are three different ways to sport the tribal trend!
1. To get the editorial swimwear look, opt for a vibrant printed bathing suit and mix it with even more prints in an unconventional way! In this image, the model is wearing a printed swimsuit with a turban made up of printed scarves!
2. Gossip Girl star Jessica Szhor looks great in this casual Summer look! To achieve this look, pair tribal separates with prints that don’t match. What works here is that Jessica Szhor’s bottoms were fully printed while her top had a bit of prints to balance the look. Accessorize the look with chunky jewelry for that tribal effect.
3. Nina Dobrev dressed up the trend in her nighttime outfit. For a more subtle look, only use one tribal piece as the statement and pair it with neutral colored pieces to keep it sophisticated and classy.
