Zoe Saldana in L.A. wearing Adriano Goldschmied
On top of being one of Hollywood’s most requested actresses, Zoe Saldana is quickly becoming a fashion icon.
Just look at her pounding the pavement in L.A., wearing slim-fit jeans designed by Adriano Goldschmied!
Here’s how we got the look:
We pulled the “Stilt Skinny Jeans” by Adriano Goldschmied and paired it with the “Loveless Top” by Insight. For accessories we chose the “Rainbow Chain Hobo Bag” by Pour La Victoire, the “Evelyn Sandal” by L.A.M.B. shoes (definitely one of our favorites this season!) and the “Bailey Roviex-Lens Sunglasses” by Tom Ford for good measure.
If you’re not into stiletto heels we chose the “Alexis Sandal” by Pencey as an alternate. Similarly, if you’re not completely sold on toothpick skinny jeans, there are the “Ballad Slim Bootcut Jeans” also by Adriano Goldschmied which are just as fly!
Curated by Andrew Bolton, “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” gives you a multifaceted look at the ground-breaking achievements of a true visionary. The exhibit is on display at Metropolitan Museum of Art until July 31, 2011. Without any less-than-stellar reviews from critics, this is definitely one of this summer’s must-see events in New York.
Savage Beauty will feature close to 100 looks and 70 accessories pulled from McQueen’s 19-year career. Bolton has paid special attention to McQueen’s obsessions as an artist–with birds, the Victorian tradition, otherworldly elements, etc. –to give new life and perspective to one of fashion’s few geniuses.

It seems like the fashion industry has just about washed its hands with the waif-like male models from Heidi Slimane’s reign. The March 2011 cover of Details magazine, featuring Sean O’pry, Noah Mills, Arthur Kulkov proved that it’s once again okay to be masculine.
Male models aside, the shoot’s emphasis on denim caught our attention! It reminded us why we appreciate so much the art of aging denim. With brands like PRPS, Cult of Individuality, True Religion, Little Brooklyn, and many more, how can you not love a perfectly worn in pair of jeans?
Coco Chanel’s one-less rule has just been suspended! From runways to Red Carpets, fashionistas are layering tons jewels just for the fun of it.
Take a risk, and pack on the fabulousness!
