Jennifer Hudson showed face, and an all new body at amfAR’s Inspiration Gala. We’ve all seen the commercials, and throughout her time as spokeswoman for Weight Watchers we’ve seen her drop pounds like no body’s business.
Now we’re all wondering how low can she go!
Forget the critics she looks amazing, and it’s not just because of the weight loss. She’s glowing now with unprecedented confidence, and she look more comfortable, polished, and healthy in her own skin.
Since Carine Roitfeld was ousted at Vogue Paris earlier this year the fashion crowd waited in angst to see if new editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt could fill the steep stiletto pumps. As it turns out Alt can also turn it!
In the June issue, Alt and her team paid tribute to the Madonna-dominated downtown style of the 1980s. Who was their choice subject? None other than supermodel turned fine artist Sasha Pivovarova.
The look: over-over-sized outerwear, boxy trousers, and the avant-garde essence of the Village’s art scene.
The ever-dapper Raphael Saadiq is at it again! His latest album, “Stone Rolling” was released on May 25th and we can vouch for him; the purveyor of ol’ school R&B hasn’t lost a drop of soul.
The album debuted at #14 on Billboard‘s Top-200, and the critics are on his side. Saadiq says he considers “Stone Rollin’ ” to be “definitely a departure” and even riskier” than “The Way I See It” and acknowledges that the overall sound is more raw than his previous album’s smoother mod-Motown feel.
Don’t just take our word for it, check it out for yourself!
As a belated birthday present to the reining queen of the original super models, we’re spotlighting Naomi Campbell’s domination over the onesie.
It’s truly impressive how severely she served body in a classic one-piece. Cheers to Naomi Campbell; she brought curves back to the runway and redefined the prima donna super model.
We pulled only the best one-pieces from Diesel, LSPACE, House of Jackie Brown, and Insight to pay homage to the timeless Miss Campbell, may she continue to snatch covers and Russian billionaires until the end.
